Valid symbols in the Stock # name:

the number of characters is limited to = 32,
all uppercase letters (A-Z),
all lowercase letters (a-z),
numbers (0-9),
a hyphen or short dash ( - ),
the dot (.) no more than one in a row,
underscores (_),
slash ( / ),
do not use the spacebar.

Uppercase and lowercase are equivalent (A=a).
