Subject: Helium Polish version 5.6.54.1
Dear Rizwan, Nilesh, Janak, Utpal,
We prepare new version of Helium Polish version 5.6.54.1 for tests in GIA:
2014_10_17_HeliumPolish_5.6.54.1.zip in \Dropbox (OctoNus)\Download\HP
Direct link to download is www.octonus.com/savr/2014_10_17_HeliumPolish_5.6.54.1.zip
We suppose that this version will decrease quantity of blocking messages during operator’s work.
In this program we make 2 different “wait times” between checks for first 1 hour of work and further hours.
We recommend to change string in Heliumbat.ini to following:
HeliumPolishHardwareControl /source system\Holdercontours.mmd /interval 180 /extendedinterval 60
(before it was HeliumPolishHardwareControl /source system\Holdercontours.mmd /interval 150 /extendedinterval 60)
In this case we will have following method of vertical correction algorithm work:
I recommend to install this version only on one scanner 10132 for a while and in several days take HolderHeight.log and DebugFiles folder to see quantity of errors.
Dear Janak, does GIA Mumbai goes to Diwali holidays? Does it make sense to install update today-tomorrow?
Can we get feedback from them in few (3-4) days and in case of success install new version on other production scanners?
2. We noticed that on all scanners in GIA Mumbai horizontal control by holder is switched on. Could you please inform why?
We recommended to switch off this control ( I discussed this issue with Nilesh in details and you can ask him).
Please switch it off.
There is no direct dependence between this feature and vertical correction but we made all our tests without horizontal control so it is better to use recommended mode.
Best regards, Sergey.
