Table (also known as table width) is the measure of the table size.
This parameter is applicable to any cut, though the detailed definition may vary.
Table
For Round brilliant, Table is a composite parameter and is defined as follows: Table outside (see below) for a finished stone or Table inside (see below) for a half-finished stone lacking the star facets.
Table (symmetry)
Table (symmetry) is defined as the maximum difference of Table measurements, i.e. the same as deviation of Table value. As all symmetry parameters, it is an estimate of a deviation from perfect symmetry, and should be zero for an ideal stone.

Table outside
This parameter is applicable only to Round brilliant cut.
Azimuth directions of the main crown facets are considered. The farthest point of the table in each of the directions is found. Table outside width is defined as the distance between two opposite points.

Table inside
This parameter is applicable only to Round brilliant cut.
The bisectors between the directions of Table outside measurements are considered. For each direction, a local minimum of table width within ±15° is found. This is the Table inside width.
