What's new in this version

  • Batch project import for both faceting and sawing projects. Supported formats:
    • Cap2Obj single OBJ file format
      • flags: cap2obj.py -o obj --marks --saws --polish # for sawing projects
      • remove --saws and marks to make a faceting project
    • Zipped OBJ file directory ( + 3d models in OBJ format)
      • *_SawsMD.ini - only defines Saws and Pies to import, order doesn't matter
      • *_GalaxySymbols.obj + *_GalaxySymbols.csv - define galaxy marks for the project
      • *_Saw*.obj and *_Pie*.obj - define saws and pies of the project
      • *_Polish*.obj - define polish models for the project
      • All this files have to be zipped into one archive and after that they can be uploaded to the server
  • Proper support for direct import of Sarine sawing projects
    • Automatic suggestion of optimal glue point and optimal initial sawing order
      • Order that allows to do as much sawing as possible in one go
    • Visualization of Galaxy Marks if they are present in the project to assist with correct gluing of the stone from 3D view of glue point
    • Capability to define custom glue point for sawing projects with automatic recalculation of sawing direction
  • Custom glue point feature for faceting projects
    • For projects where in the area of the table there is a lot of material it may be beneficial to glue stone to another place to ensure it doesn't fall off to early
  • Infinite scroll view of projects list and recognition list
