Dear Nilesh, Utpal, Janak, Kamal,

Please find new version of  Helium Polish version 5.6.68.1 and corresponding DLL’s and new report templates here:

2015_03_20_HeliumPolish_5.6.68.1.zip in \Dropbox (OctoNus)\Download\HP

Actual folder is \Dropbox (OctoNus)\Download\HP\HP_Actual_8.5D

Direct link to download is www.octonus.com/savr/2015_03_20_HeliumPolish_5.6.68.1.zip

In this version we made following changes:

  1. Correct accounting and coloring of extra facets (E-mail from Janak on 25.12.2014, 8:27 AM, Subj: Extra facet – rules).
Currently girdle facets are shown by brown (steep - more than 75 degrees) and blue (shallow - less than 75 degrees).
Crown and pavilion extra facets are shown by magenta. If extra facet is made of several model facets then they are combined in one – look at blue girdle facet on Rear view below – extra facet is formed by 2 model facets but it is counted in report as 1 shallow girdle facet.

  2. Changes in algorithm of screening photos with too bright (intensity more than 250) pixels – currently only photos when we have 2 neighboring bright pixels (or more) will be eliminated (before even 1 bright pixel eliminates photo). So “Light duzzle in a row” message should not come if one pixel is bad. Kamal, please check on GIA HP23ProD scanner.
  3. We add algorithm which can build stepcut and baguette stones as in old versions of software: it is Cutting: Emerald in Scan polished diamond panel. So we have 1) Cutting: Stepcut (here program choose best model among methods Stepcut, Emerald, Anycut) and 2) Cutting: Emerald ((here program choose best model among methods Stepcut, Emerald). Samples sent by Nilesh on are built correctly by Cutting: Emerald (E-mail from Nilesh on 26.02.2015, 3:55 PM, Subj: HELIUMPOLISH VERS:5.6.65.1 and BrilRecon.dll vers :1.13.1_BuguetteGirdle_RBC_Extra facet, …
  4. Error with unnecessary extra facets on round semipolished stone is fixed (E-mail from Nilesh on 26.02.2015, 3:55 PM, Subj: HELIUMPOLISH VERS:5.6.65.1 and BrilRecon.dll vers :1.13.1_BuguetteGirdle_RBC_Extra facet)

  5. Error when princess with large elongation is recognized as Emerald fixed (E-mail from Janak on 20.03.2014, 4:55 PM, Subj: FW: Helium for fancy and large rounds).
  6. Crown Curve data info missing for Marquise is fixed (E-mail from Nilesh on 11.02.2015, 4:04 PM, Subj: RE: Helium Polish version 5.6.65.1, BrilRecon.dll version 1.1.3.1, report.dll version 2.4.25.1) – please use new templates
  7. We fixed some bug with wrong bookmarks in Full_report_for_brilliant.rtf for parameters Girdle-Culet offset by table axis, Girdle-Table offset by table axis and in all HTML reports for parameter Girdle to table-culet line offset in % and in mm.

Best regards, Sergey.
