What is HPOxygen
HPOxygen (Helium Polish Oxygen) is a bundled hardware+software solution for diamond scanning, a successor to Helium Polish with modern interface and a plenty of new features. It is intended for cutting factories, laboratories and dealers. HPOxygen offers a wide selection of various appraisal system, including GIA-approved Facetware and user-defined MyGIA. The reporting functionality has been significantly improved.
What is new ?
August 11, 2016 - HPOxygen Server Beta 3.20.7 is released.
- Reworked concept of scan models management.
- Added Model Building Info (MBI) for Refined models.
- MBI error selection now highlights the offending model edge.
- Shadow contours are now drawn as dotted instead of solid lines (same as in HP Pacor).
- Added Green Frame option.
- Scan dialog now remembers default precision (contours number) for each Cutting (algorithm) type.
- Rotate First Facet to Door button added to rotate the stone in the scanner.
- Added ASCII Model Export in Report basis.
- Added Standard Report which includes Facetware grade for Brilliants (if Facetware appraiser is selected); also available for other cuts.
- Added Export All report (INI Export) + launching external application.
- Added 10x Round brilliant polished report.
- SmartRecut is now 1.3-1.7 times faster, while keeping same or better quality.
- Completely new SmartRecut presets, which provide an evenly distributed range of solutions balancing weight and optical symmetry (from large solutions with acceptable symmetry to smaller solutions with excellent symmetry).
- SmartRecut now fixes Table plane (normal) of the original stone, whenever possible.
- Improved GUI.
- New centralized Settings GUI dialog (to be populated with more settings, now controls Stone ID & Scale Weight input options).
Main features
- Smart Recut is the improved algorithm of finding recut solutions, taking into account possible inclusions in the stone and optimizing parameters according to various appraisers.
- I3D (Interactive 3D) report is the new kind of report. It includes pictures which you can adjust in many ways at any moment after the report has been produced: turn the model to any orientation, toggle different kinds of captions on/off, etc.
- Comparative report is the method to thoroughly compare two stones. It is especially useful when considering recut solutions.
- GIA Facetware is the GIA-approved procedure that appraises stones in full accordance with GIA criteria.
- MyGIA is the interface for managing custom appraiser, where you may specify whatever limits meet your needs the best.
- DZ color estimate is the method for color grading of a series of related recut solutions, based on the expert grading for one of them.
