Table Edge is the length of the edge of the table facet.

There are two ways to define the table edge length: Model and TEV (Table Edge Virtual). Both measurements are reported.

Model Table Edge is the length of table edge, i.e. the edge between the table and the star facet.

Table Edge (TEV) is the length of the virtual edge that would appear if the existing table edges were prolonged till the intersections with each other.


Table Edge TEV (symmetry) is defined as deviation of Table Edge (TEV) value.

Table Edge Symm = max(A, B, ..., H) - min(A, B, ..., H) (see the notation on the picture above).

There are 8 independent values of Table Edge in a round brilliant cut. Each of it is measured in both ways (Model and TEV).
