Cutwise Multistage Projects allows to create Diamond Processing Stages, add and link Cutwise products and Carbon projects to different Stages. Multistage projects can be used to tell Diamond History and to perform quality control on factory.

Dictionary

Multistage project - project, describing whole diamond planning and polishing process 

Stage  - phase of diamond processing (Planning, Sawing, Polishing, etc)

Event  - episode in stage (Pavilion Polishing, Crown Polishing)

Milestone - one of the main Events in Diamond Processing

Carbon Project - HPC project with scan and solutions (optionally), uploaded to Cutwise

Create Multistage project

It's recommended to create Multistage projects before starting working on the diamond and uploading first data to Cutwise.

Go to Multistage projects list https://cutwise.com/multi-projects and click Create button

There are several Multistage projects templates on Cutwise, that can be used to simplify adding Cutwise items to Multistage projects:

   3. Final polished Diamond 
2. Planning-Final
   1. Carbon Project with solutions

More templates can be added by request. Every project can be expanded with stages and events beyond the template.

Enter project's title (original rough or polished diamond SKU) and select one of templates

Add Cutwise Item Multistage Project 

Cutwise can suggest what Multistage project and stage should be assigned to Cutwise Items (rough, polished diamonds, Carbon Projects).

Find your item in stock management

1. Polished diamonds https://cutwise.com/catalog/diamond-colorless/edit
2. Rough https://cutwise.com/catalog/rough/edit
3. Carbon projects https://cutwise.com/projects

 Click Add button

Select project or create new project, check Stage and descriptions and save result

Assigned stage will appear

Selected solution and plan 

Selected solution appears as Desired Plan if Golden star was set in Carbon Project that is added to Cutwise Multiproject

Quality Control

If plan and result are added to Multiproject, they are compared and Quality control status is shown by color indicator on Multiproject and Multiprojects list 

Public multistage project

Multiprojects Access can be set to either public or private.

Public access is recommended to be set when Multiproject is completed. User should control  access manually for items that were added after changing Multiproject Access to Public.

Multistage projects can be edited on multiproject page

Set Milestone to Add event to page's header

Add new Stages, Events and existing Cutwise Items 

Custom images, links and links texts can be added to Events
