Version is here: Dropbox (OctoNus)\Download\DALS\DALS 1.4.1.28.exe
What's new
- Facility configs moved to the shared folder "%PROGRAMDATA%\OctoNus Software\Digital Microscope".
- What to do with configs to use new config folder before first start of new version:
- Install new DALS program version based on your facility type and camera type. It also installs base versions of necessary config files to the shared DALS config folder.
- Manually change installed configs based on config files from the last DALS version on the computer. Ask developers for this operation for all of computers in India. If it is necessary to update DALS versions on clients' computes, we will prepare detailed documentation of this process or prepare auto copying of necessary configs to the shared folder.
- We plan that next DALS versions will use these shared configs and operator will have not copy them manually.
- Several config files are renamed or divided:
- alignment_left.bin, alignment_right.bin → renamed to alignmentS.bin, alignment.bin
- CamerasConfig.xml → divided to hws_boards.xml (tag hardware.boards) and hws_video.xml (tag hardware.video)
- What to do with configs to use new config folder before first start of new version:
- Added ability to choose a facility type and a camera type:
Facility:
Setup menu Configuration Multilight Controller Encoders Motors Cameras DALS MLCD Zoom 1 RGB or BW DALS+ MLCD Zoom & Z 1 RGB or BW DALS+ Stereo MLSC Zoom & Z 2 RGB or BW DiBox 360 MLSC Rx 1 RGB You can also use a MLSC multilight controller type for DALS and DALS+ configurations and MLCD for DiBox 360 configuration. If it is necessary, request additional details from developers or install somewhere DALS with the configuration type that corresponds to necessary multilight controller type, take the 'mlsc2.xml' file from the "%PROGRAMDATA%\OctoNus Software\Digital Microscope" and then paste it to your config folder. - Camera: RGB or BW:
- Simplified zoom wheel calibration process. Documentation is here.
