What's new?

• In this version several fixes to a convex algorithm were done:

  • Besides non-triangulated version of model, a triangulated is exported too in case of convex algorithm scenario. It contains _trian_ suffix in the name of model. This was done because Carbon fails to triangulate large and complex non-triangulated facets. So the result of visualization of model in solid mode and optimization could be wrong. This is a comparison between solid visualizations in Carbon for non-triangulated and triangulated models (please, save both models for future calculations):

  • We simplified the topology of resulting model: the cavity area became smoother (with less number of triangles) and intermediate zone between cavity area and convex part became smoother too. Also more shallow cavities are detected automatically in new version. Here you can see the comparison in same model (alpha 46 and 1.0.1.47):
