Crown breadth is the measure of horizontal size of the main crown facets.
The uppermost and lowermost points of the main crown facets are located. Both are projected onto the table plane. The line is drawn between the projections and continued until the intersection with the projection of the girdle. The distance between the projection of the uppermost point and the intersection with the girdle is the Crown breadth. It is calculated for all 8 main crown facets.
