Table (also known as table width) is the measure of the table size.
This parameter is applicable to any cut, though the detailed definition may vary.
For Rounded Fancies (Marquise, Oval, Pear), Table is defined as follows. Only two diameters of the table are measured for these cuts: along minimum and maximum diameters. The table is measured using main crown facets for determining the directions of measurement. Azimuths of two pairs of opposite main crown facets define the direction in which the table diameter is measured. The relative table diameters are calculated using main diameters measured in the same direction. The software calculates average, minimum, maximum table values using these 2 parameters.
Table (symmetry) is defined as the maximum difference of Table measurements, i.e. the same as deviation of Table value. As all symmetry parameters, it is an estimate of a deviation from perfect symmetry, and should be zero for an ideal stone.
