Brief User Manual for DM Client Application

Microscope Controls Panel

Zoom Control Section

  1. Zoom control slider;
  2. Zoom preset values buttons;
  3. Zoom increment / decrement buttons;
  4. Pixel size display for current zoom (depends on hardware!).

Focus Control Section

  1. Slider for focus control;
  2. Buttons for preset focus locations. Offsets in mm from '0' position. To set '0' position, focus in the desired location and press right mouse button on '0' button. This value will be saved between application launch;
  3. Current focus step and focus step selection buttons. The 'A' button means auto step dependent on current zoom value;
  4. Current focus location and buttons to step-by-step presize focus navigation.

Cameras Exposure Control Section

  1. Auto-Gain on/off (Auto-Gain);
  2. Current FPS (frames per second) value is display for live view;
  3. Current exposure time in seconds / current exposure time in microseconds / current gain in dB (you can change the displayed information by left mouse button click on this field);
  4. Up/down buttons can be used to tune exposure (if in the field 3 was selected the showing of the current exposure time) or gain (if in the field 3 was selected the showing of the current gain).

Attention!

  • In Auto-Gain mode you can not change the gain manualy by up/down buttons 4. First you should turn this option off using the button 1;
  • In normal mode (Auto-Gain is turned off) when you change the gain, the exposure time will recalculated automatically to preserve the mean brightness of the frame.

Aperture Control Section


Shows current aperture opening and buttons to chaning aperture
